Armenians at Work

Showcasing Armenians at work around the world, from the homeland and throughout the diaspora, from 1899 through contemporary times.

This collection brings to life Armenians working in diverse fields including medicine, farming, technology and law enforcement. It features Armenian business owners and entrepreneurs, skilled artisans, as well as the laborers and factory workers who were the backbone of the labor force.

These represent our many different types of photographs - those posed by a studio or itinerant photographer and the less formal snapshots - which are preserved in Project SAVE's archives. We are committed to collecting, preserving and sharing these photographic histories of Armenians for many generations to come.
