Leave a lasting legacy by naming Project Save’s gallery space. It’s the most public-facing part of our mission to preserve and share Armenian heritage and the overall immigrant experience. A place where exhibitions, events and programs will connect people through photography and storytelling.

Archive Alive is a multimedia initiative that reimagines how archival photographs are shared and experienced, with a focus on the lives, memories, and movements of Armenian diaspora communities. Through curated digital stories, interactive exhibits, and community-sourced reflections, Archive Alive breathes new life into historical images—connecting them to contemporary questions of identity, displacement, and belonging. By blending visuals with narrative and sound, the project transforms the archive from a static repository into a living, evolving space of connection and dialogue.

Our newest initiative empowers archivists, cultural heritage workers and photographers in Armenia through annual visits. Each year, we send archivists, curators, and photographers to hold workshops in the country. Likewise, Armenian archivists and photographers spend time at Project Save, Harvard University and the Boston Public Library. Your sponsorship makes a lasting impact on Armenian cultural institutions and creative communities.

Project Save 50th anniversary exhibitions will bring to life the powerful stories of Armenian heritage, identity and culture. Exhibitions are planned at Project Save and partner institutions such as the Griffin Museum, Boston Public Library and elsewhere. Partner with us to share these remarkable narratives with the world.

The Artist & Research Residency at Project Save invites creatives and scholars to engage directly with our photographic archive to produce new work, research, or public programming. Our inaugural resident artist, photographer and professor Pavel Romaniko, explored themes of memory, loss, and the post-Soviet imaginary through photographs in our collection.
